Paul Harris Fellows 2015

At the installation dinner held on Thursday June 25th 2015 at a very elegant dinner at the Pegasus hotel, the Rotary Club of Georgetown honored Harrinand Persaud, Clyde DeHas, Aubrey Roberts and Sir Shridath Surendranath "Sonny" Ramphal as they all received Paul Harris awards for their outstanding contributions to various community projects. The Paul Harris Fellow Award is the highest honour a club can bestow on a person, either inside or outside the club. The award therefore acknowledges "service above self" which that individual has offered to their community, their nation or indeed to the world. Paul Harris was the founder of Rotary and this award program was created to fund many Rotary Foundation programs.
