The Membership Committee : Expands the strength and size of the Club mainly by initiating and monitoring the process by which new members are recruited.

At the beginning of every Rotary Year, the Committee is required to:
·  develop a plan for recruiting new members. This work should be conducted after a review of the classifications for members has taken place and vacancies have been identified.

The Committee should also:
· conduct periodic surveys of positions in the public and private sectors as well as those in civil society organizations.  These efforts will inform members of changing business, commercial and other trends and provide a basis for updating Classifications.

· ensure that new members are aware of Rotary’s principles and policies and the Club’s practices
